The Guardians Law Enforcement Motorcycle Association proudly honors the life, service, and ultimate sacrifice of K9 Dundee, a courageous four-year-old police K9 who gave his life in the line of duty.

Joining the Lee County Sheriff's Office in February 2024, Dundee served alongside his handler, Deputy Julian Chala, protecting the residents of Lee County. Certified in patrol and narcotics detection, Dundee completed 174 deployments and contributed to 28 apprehensions throughout his distinguished career.

On September 28, 2026, Dundee tragically passed away following an operation to apprehend a suspect in North Fort Myers. Dundee was more than a police K9. He was a loyal partner, a trusted protector, a beloved family member, and a hero. To Deputy Chala, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, and everyone whose lives Dundee touched, we extend our deepest sympathies.
